Omaha knows how to show up for its teams and Red Door Woodfired Grill is excited to get in on the action. For the 2026–27 season, Red Door is proud to partner with two of Omaha’s major athletic programs: Creighton Athletics and University of Omaha Athletics. From Bluejay basketball to Maverick hockey and beyond, we’re firing up game days all season long. With Red Door located in Aksarben Village, fans have a nearby spot to grab a burger, meet up for drinks or celebrate a win before or after the game.
Turning Up the Heat with Creighton Men’s Basketball
Red Door is partnering with Creighton Men’s Basketball throughout the 2026–27 season at CHI Health Center. The partnership goes beyond putting our name on a sign. We’re getting in on some of the biggest moments of the game.
After every Creighton win, look for the “Player on Fire,” recognizing the Player of the Game across Creighton Men’s Basketball social channels. When the Bluejays need the arena behind them, it’s time for the Red Door Crowd Igniter. Inside CHI Health Center, the sponsored hype-up segment takes over the videoboard during pivotal moments to turn up the energy and get the crowd going
In other words: when the CHI Health Center gets loud, that means Red Door is turning up the heat.
Cheering On Maverick Nation
The University of Omaha Athletics partnership puts Red Door in the middle of even more action throughout the 2026–27 season, with a presence across volleyball, hockey, and men’s and women’s basketball. Fans will see Red Door throughout the season on in-venue displays, while hockey and basketball also include Red Door radio features. Hockey gets an extra dose of Red Door this season with a dedicated Omaha Hockey game sponsorship, including an in-game PA announcement, live radio mention and keep an eye out for their game-night activation all on January 30th when Omaha takes on Minnesota Duluth.
With Baxter Arena right in Aksarben Village, Red Door makes an easy addition to Maverick game day. Stop in before the puck drops, meet up after the final buzzer or make dinner part of the plan before heading into the arena.
Your Omaha Game Day Starts at Red Door
Whether you’re wearing blue or black and red, there’s always room around the table. These partnerships are about more than game-day signage. They’re another way for Red Door to be part of the Omaha community and the traditions that bring people together throughout the year. So grab your crew, throw on your team colors and make Red Door part of the game-day lineup.
