Red Door Woodfired Grill’s Culinary Team Spearheads the 2025 KC Ambassadors Gala
On Thursday, May 29, Red Door Woodfired Grill proudly brought the flavor to one of Kansas City’s most spirited evenings — the KC Ambassadors Gala at The Abbott. As the Official Food and Drink Sponsor of the KC Ambassadors, we served our flavorful fare to an all-star crowd of community leaders, former Chiefs players, and die-hard Kansas Citians —including a famished KC Wolf!
The night was more than just food and fanfare. It was a celebration of purpose. This year’s Gala, led by KC Ambassadors President and former Chiefs wide receiver Danan Hughes, remains an epic partnership with the Kansas City Police Athletic League (KCPAL) — an organization building bridges between KC’s youth and local police officers through sports, academics, and community events.
Guests were treated to an evening of unforgettable bites, heartfelt moments, and big wins for our community. Thousands of dollars were raised in support of youth programs that foster safety, trust, and opportunity — an effort the Ambassadors and KCPAL are deeply committed to.
Red Door’s corporate team showed up in full force — stylish, spirited, and proud to serve a cause close to Kansas City’s heart. Events like this are exactly why we love calling this city home.
From the first hors d’oeuvre to the final toast, we were honored to fuel the celebration for the KC Ambassadors and, of course, a community that rallies behind them.
